Re: Link discrepancies to disposition downloads

John R., the link to Rick Whatson’s Christie dispositions renders the following URL address:    http://tosa-qld.org/vtpo  .   While this looks like a legitimate, Virtual Theatre Pipe Organ (vtpo) link,
it produces a page in Japanese, which translates to “Dekiru Otona’s Petite Alchemy Site” and a large-lettered “NOT FOUND,” indicating that the link is incorrect.  Perhaps, if Rick is monitoring
the list postings he could update the download link for those dispositions.
Also, there were several folders of MIDI files by Fenelon, Dickman, Kavanagh and Kippling which are notated “Christie” in the “Name” column of the Midi file when read in a Midi Sequencer Program.
Were these included in the download of the Christie disposition?

Thanks,
John Beach

JohnB,

Thank you for pointing out this problem. Rick is aware of it, but until the
Wiki is online in its earlier form, we have no way of altering what is
there. Aaron and Graham are working on the jOrgan Wiki project.

JohnB,
I have a link to the Christie download on the STARTING page of the jOrgan
Discovery website. You could check it out there.

Re: Link discrepancies to disposition downloads

This is the direct current link the Christie virtual organ page.

http://tcptechnology.com.au/vtpo/

Our local Theatre Organ Society updated its web domain with the launch of a completely new web site 18 months ago. The old domain registration and hosting has been alowed to expire.

There are a few newer folders of MIDI files in the current Christie download zip folder. These are actual live MIDI recordings from the real Christie console of live concerts.
The real Christie now has full MIDI record and replay, and I have been able to update the jOrgan Christie displsition to read the files direct off the SD card.
The live MIDI file not only contains the notes played on all manuals, but also the complete registrations live.

Regards
Rick
