Constant crashes on OS X

mathom
Hello

I am having a problem with jOrgan 3.20. It is crashing fairly consistently when doing the most mundane things like editing a disposition, loading a new disposition and customizing a disposition. It is even crashing on quit. This has all started since I update to OS X 10.11 (El Capitan). The error displayed in the crash report is the following:

Application Specific Information:
abort() called
*** error for object 0x1180bf140: pointer being freed was not allocated

The crashed thread has this as the top of the call stack:

Thread 27 Crashed:: Java: AWT-EventQueue-0
0   libsystem_kernel.dylib         0x00007fff90c9b002 __pthread_kill + 10
1   libsystem_pthread.dylib       0x00007fff91b135c5 pthread_kill + 90
2   libsystem_c.dylib             0x00007fff8a9dd6e7 abort + 129
3   libsystem_malloc.dylib         0x00007fff955b0070 free + 425
4   libmmj.jnilib                 0x000000011797c59a Java_de_humatic_mmj_MidiInput_nativeCloseInput + 71

It looks like it is running into trouble when the midi input is being closed. Is anyone else running OS X 10.11? Do you see this problem? Any help/suggestions greatly appreciated.

Re: Constant crashes on OS X

Thanks for mentioning that. I had been using 1.6 because of needing an older application to run. Unfortunately 1.8 doesn’t fair any better. I still get the same errors.

Hi,

I'm sorry to hear that :(.

Since I don't have any OS X version running here, I'm afraid I can't
help you with this error.
